HOLIDAYS DON’T CHANGE YOUR IDENTITY — THEY REVEAL IT
Sure, December is basically booby-trapped with sugar, travel, and people who swear “you don’t need to work out this week.” Cute.
But your identity? That’s the part that stays steady when life gets loud.
Here are simple, actually applicable tools to stay consistent with the habits that define you pick the one that needs the most love this month:
🔥 FITNESS — “Something > Nothing.”Short on time? Cool. Hit a 5-10 minute Fort-style AMRAP, walk after meals, stretch, or drop in for the class you didn’t feel like going to. Consistency isn’t about perfection… it’s about showing up anyway.
🔥 NUTRITION — “Anchor Your Day.”Start with a protein-forward breakfast, hydrate like you mean it, and decide in advance which holiday foods are worth it. Enjoy the things you genuinely love, not the random sugar bomb calling your name out of peer pressure.
🔥 SLEEP — “Set Your Ceiling.”Pick a realistic bedtime window and aim for it 80% of the time. Your mood, cravings, and training quality will thank you. (And yes, scrolling aimlessly in bed still doesn’t count as “unwinding.”)
💥 CHOOSE YOUR PRIORITY. DOMINATE THAT ONE THING.Your identity as a strong, consistent human doesn’t disappear in December, you just get more opportunities to practice it.
Stay grounded. Stay intentional. Stay you.Even when the eggnog hits back.
